"Five stars on the board! This is not the first soul food restaurant I have eaten in Amarillo and I have enjoyed all so I hate to say I liked each of them the best, but let's just say that this one is up here. I got green black-eyed peas, Mac and cheese, which was definitely homemade, fried ribs that were from this world in texture and taste and because the price was so reasonable I got a piece of buttermilk cake to bring home. Better hungry! Every dish I had was delicious. The staff is very friendly. Try the Sunday buffet, but you better come to the opening, or you won't get a seat!

I'll tell you, if you like Southern food, you have to come here. This is a family-style place and the good reminds you of Grandma cooking. Todd the owner and his family run this place and it is the bomb. If I could give him 10 stars

Came to give the new home-style restaurant an attempt. Todd took our orders. He must be one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Before we came in, there were a group of people on the street standing in the parking lot of the store. I asked the owner what was going on with this group of irritated looking people, and she said they were crazy because she asked them to move their cars as she has limited parking.
