"It was my son's 40th Birthday celebration and mine also. We wanted to go somewhere a bit special but ended up being disappointed with the food. My son's meal arrived tepid, it was exchanged for a hot meal and not charged for but, by the time he got his meal, the rest of us had finished ours. The experience wasn't cheap either for a lunchtime meal and a soft drinks. The waitress service though was very good."

Food disappointing, Portions, Lack of Menu Choice. When I made the booking I requested a table upstairs, on Arrival I was told the upstairs area was closed. We were placed squashed in between two tables so intimacy was compromised. Won’t be back!

The whole experience at The Ivy Cardiff was perfect. It was our first visit and cannot recommend it enough. The service was impeccable. The staff were amazing and cannot thank you enough for the lovely touch of the cake and candle for my husbands birthday. Cannot wait to return
