"Great service and the food was amazing! I had the Brulee French toast, it was delicious! The toast had a crispy out layer with cream and blueberries inside. The blueberry sauce was out of this world! Also had pecans which blended so well together."

"Crème de la Cocoa was amazing to work with start to finish! The tasting was fantastic and they were always quick to respond to answer questions and make changes to our proposal. All of their cakes and desserts are delicious! We went with the Florida native flavor for our wedding cake. The cake was simple and beautiful just like we wanted. We also did a second fun cake and went with the salted caramel crunch. They made such a cute and creative rivalry cake. The cakes looked and tasted amazing and were a huge hit at our wedding. Thank you Crème de la Cocoa!"

"We are locals here in St Augustine, so we have enjoyed the BlackFly numerous times. Their menu has changed, but there are still plenty of wonderful dishes to select from. Our party of three adults ordered the Bread Basket, which was good; we also ordered 2 appetizers of the Chili-Lime Shrimp, which are in my opinion THE BEST appetizer on the menu. My husband ordered the Filet, I ordered the Grilled Scallops over butter herb pasta, and my friend ordered the Sweet Tea Pork-chops, followed by a slice of Key Lime pie. EVERYTHING was amazing!! The only improvement we could suggest would have been a more attentive waitstaff. My friends tea glass became empty, we had to flag our waiter down after a long wait; Then the waitstaff forgot to bring out the refilled tea… Later on, our water glasses were empty, again after a long wait, we again had to catch his attention to ask for refills. Which he did refill, but with zero ice. Luke warm water… As far as noise level, this visit was much more enjoyable as compared to our past visit when the noise level was so “Energetic” that our table of 4 could not hear each other… so the evening wasn’t enjoyable. This evening we were pleased with the softness of sound."

"I was very disappointed. 75% of us got food poisoning from dinner. I came to the restaurant and they never answered. Do not order the rabbit, unless they want to throw up the night (we were not the only ones, either because it was thrown onto the toilet of the men). the shrimp-creole soup was quite blande and during the lobster was perfect the lobster ravioli was understated."

"we were here last year to brunch and it was such a great experience so we knew we wanted to come here and try the dinner menu for our 10-year-old high-time day. from beginning to end it was a great experience. while we waited for our table, we have a few drinks in the bar, which is a nice and cozy opposite. the special drink raintree rose was delish. for dinner we enjoyed starters, main dishes and dessert. our waiter was attentive and eating was just so wonderful. we love this place!"
