"This restaurant was recommended by several locals and the staff at our hotel in Aberdeen, MD. Walked in at 6:30 on a Friday night with no reservation. Waited about 40 mins and the meal was worth the wait. Our server Skyler was excellent and added to the enjoyment factor. My wife has special dietary needs and Skyler made an off-menu suggestion for her that was spot on. Our food was served hot and cooked to perfection. The chicken dishes were tender and tasty. Excellent food! The portions were large, so there was a lot to take home. A member of our party says it was the best chicken they ever had. The salad and bread sticks were plentiful and tasty. Great variety of entrees, so everyone will be happy.

Ordered crab cake dinner. the inside was cold and the outside was room temperature. This could not have been fresh but a frozen crab cake that was broiled and not even heated all the way. It was sent back and even when it was brought back out it was still not hot. Will not be returning. Poor lighting that they didn't know how to fix. Host did not have a friendly attitude.

"Always love Pounders when the family heads to Aberdeen for an end of the summer trip. You can't beat their selection of quality craft beers and some pretty legendary Imperial Stout pulls from their rotating beer menu. If you are not a beer drinker, they have a great selection of cocktails on a separate drink menu! Their food selection has a kids friendly menu, and some wonderful options for burger loves, wrap lovers, taco lovers, and all round American style food loves. "We came in from out of town to visit our son and looked for restaurants with good reviews. This restaurant had good reviews, but we were very disappointed. 3 of 5 of us ordered medium and medium rare steaks. The steaks were well overdone. In fact, mine was so overdone on the edges that it was unable to be eaten. The waitress apologized and said she would give us a discount on the bill. Our bill was $117.00, and she gave us a total of $5 off for 3 terrible steaks and steamed broccoli that was far from being steamed because it wasn't even cooked. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere that cooks your food correctly. "While in town for work, I thought here for dinner one night. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender what he would recommend from their menu. He proposed wings and the Rodeoburger. I did not really feel wings, so I took his recommendation to the Rodeo Burger, which is a decent size burger, barbecue sauce and onion rings filled in a bungalow. Several page options available and I went dead with tater. I also have Chislic as an appetizer. I asked how the chislic was prepared (drilled or fried) and he told me it was fried. I must admit, from South Dakota I had Chislic many other times and that had to be some of the best I ever had! The pieces were large and perfectly cooked! If I hadn't said it was fried, I would have thought it was grilled because it was tender. I'm sorry I didn't get a picture of the burgers and the points, but they were also extremely good. If I'm ever back in Aberdeen, I'd definitely come back to this place. The young gentleman who was the bartender last night has done an excellent job to recommend her menu."
