"The first time here for us and Duke is not disappointed. We met friends there, and they had made reservations. We arrived a bit earlier and the table was ready for us. When we sat, the waiter arrived and took our drinks orders. Less than 3 minutes later the drinks arrived and we set our Entree orders, we all had the Prime Rib dinner. We were least disappointed!! The whole beef was perfectly boiled, with exactly the right amount of fat and crust-shaped edges. We all enjoyed every bite! A clear 5-star rating, if I could give an additional star for friendly, attentive service, I would. Not a chic, gorgeous steak house, beautifully casual and relaxed. Thanks Duke's!"

"We have been going here for years. But this evening we landed there to empty tables on a Friday. Surprised we still went In. Management change is what we were told. The food was pathetic. Risotto was burnt and over cooked. Mahi Mahi came over blackened. The Gorgonzola sauce had a burnt taste and the pasta was thick and raw. The gnocchi came out in a burnt sauce. The owner came to the table we told him. He took the plates away saying sorry. Sent us the bill for all the food we did not eat. We paid, tipped the server as it was not her fault. I think the only good restaurant in Castle Pines is now gone."

"Was there today with my Son after we went to the library. The red haired boy is absolutely disrespectful and beyond rude. Grabbed the 2 pieces of wax paper. Put it on the board and then proceeded to glare at my son. So I then told my Son to tell him the bread he wanted. He snapped back at him and said: I Cant Hear you.. then I stepped in and repeated my Son. Redhead did say, I am hard of hearing ok then I continue to say our orders. Obnoxious and acting completely annoyed with anything I said.. we asked for onions. He replied bluntly “we don’t have any”. He was terrible from start to finish as in when he rang it up and then just walked away to the people behind us, in which he said, again bluntly “BREAD”. Wow! To add to this treatment, the lettuce was yellowing, the board was extremely dirty, the bottles holding the condiments were discolored and looked extremely dirty. The mayonnaise ran out on my son’s sandwich and then I had none. He didn’t offer to get more from the back. This place is disgusting and the employee, the redhead matches it very well. I’m going to call the management of this particular establishment (I know they are all personally owned) and request my money back. If not I will dispute it with my back. If I wasn't there I couldn’t imagine how he would have treated my son!"

"Outdoor atmosphere was nice. But the food and drinks were horrible. To be a steakhouse is surprising the steak was horrible tasted like they heated it up in the microwave very rubbery and unpleasant tasting. My husband can make a better steak. Can’t believe we spent a $100 here. Won’t be back."
