"This is a unique place to eat, part hardware store, western clothing store, and barbecue restaurant. We learned about it from trip advisor reviews and found it by entering the address in my phone. From the looks of the outside, I likely would have never stopped here. Inside is a small seating area; you place your order at the counter and your order is brought to you. The lady behind the counter was very nice, and helped us with her suggestions. I ordered a special called “the Beast”, and it was wonderful! Watson's BBQ is a great little store. They have some hardware, gifts, and BBQ. We we there around breakfast so we did not try the BBQ. They did have donuts.

I am traveling Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica and this has been my best stop so far! They are beyond friendly, helpful, and the food was absolutely amazing. Do not go through Tucumcari without stopping here.
