"I went to White Star on Saturday at around 5:30 pm with my family. I am hard of hearing and my hearing issue was mocked by the staff member (male with beard) in an extremely rude manner. I explained to him my condition and he was very rude and spoke down to me. I never received an apology. Then after I gave them my phone number for the waitlist, no one ever called us. This is unacceptable. He literally shooed us away with his hand multiple times. I used to really enjoy going here but never again. Management needs step in and do something about this."

best burger in downtown jc! staff is friendly and love it when they have the outdoor seating open. my go to for comfort and casual. also, love that they are accomdating to allergies

Got a petty melt to go during dinner time. Maybe it's meant to be a treasure hunt to find the meat, had to dig into it to find a tiny bit in the center! Usually a fan of this place but this was disappointing.

This place has good food/ cold beer and a rustic bar feel. I cannot recommend this place enough to people in the area. I recommend the burgers and poutine here. The poutine is really good and the burgers are huge. The wings were also classic and crispy. The restaurant is a little small so it can feel crowded during peak times but the food is worth it.

"I thought there was an attempt to give between me and my partner we ordered hummer shrimp combo (soggy), orange chicken combo (old), a dose soda and crabsticks. prices do not correspond to the quality they expect. the only thing I enjoyed was the garnel sizes - not quantity, crumb not quantity and rice, but not enough to finish. the lobster was excessively soft and inconspicuous. the orange chicken and egg rolls old. I don't think there are many places that cook fresh. who rated it 5 stars has most likely become used to the taste."

"the underestimated gem of newark ave. it's a little bit, but the sandwiches should die. everything is fresh, everything is cheap, everything is available - their large menu can surprise them! it is busy around the lunchtime, but they will be in and out in 10 minutes thanks to their illuminating fast teamworkers and what must be the most efficient bank of the staates. the wall street wonder sandwich is one of my favorites."

"Go to Sushi Spot with colleagues. Your fish is of great quality, service recommendation and interiors inviting. Some of their best appetizers I've tried, many of them are their salted Edamame (5/5), Blistered Shishito Peppers (4/5), and Tuna Tartare Tower (4/5). Her sushi roles are also impressive. Of the different roles I have tried, my favorites are the Honshu Roll (5/5), Sunrise Roll (5/5), Special K Roll (4.5/5). However, the other roles will not disappoint. The hot tea they serve is also groundless, so they come to the warm refills, which is an absolute joy. Of the many sushi spots I tried in NYC and NJ, this must be a close winner."

"I am so happy that I found this place. In the heart of Hoboken you can find this hidden gem. I love how affordable this place is, I love how attentive and hospitable the staff are! And the food is amazing! My favorite is the grilled skirt steak with shrimp and the mango smoothie! During my first visit I had this dish with a side of maduros, rice and beans. They have an amazing garlic sauce to pair the dish with you can ask for it on the side but make sure you add lime to the steak and the garlic sauce on top of it. The second visit my sister had the chicken with shrimp and garlic sauce it was good too. And the tres leches was great as well. You must check this place out!"

"This place gets the job done. It's not the best pizza in town, not that they claim to be, but when you need someplace close and quick this place can be great. The staff is friendly and they'll make your pizza how you like. They know me well enough now to know I like my pizza well done. They even ask me if I'm okay with how it's cooked when I get there. They also have good chicken fingers, buffalo chicken sandwich and the burger isn't too bad too. Most importantly the price here is perfect for what you get. Just know you need cash but if you don't have cash just order online, they get the order quite quick."
