You wouldn't think a little Korean restaurant in Mt Pleasant would be very good, but it's the best I had in Michigan! I've been on my way for about 6 years and it's still my favorite restaurant.

Where I go when I miss my mother's haunted Korean meals. After I came to Central, I missed my mother's home, cooked Korean meals so much. So I was ecstatic when Shin broke up! Meals are fresh, tasteful and delicious. Not to mention, they are as authentic as you can get for Mt. Pleasant. It doesn't matter to pay there for a meal, they come with never-ending fresh Korean sides from Kimchi and Pickled Radish. When I visited my mother, she enjoyed her food and was happy that I had a place to get good Korean food. Shin's is definitely a hidden gem of Mt. Pleasant that I recommend to everyone at least once trying to experience high quality Korean cuisine.
