"Yakitori Sake House is run by the same company as Saiko-i, one of my favorites, as well as Coco Sushi Lounge and Koi, so I went to go to try it out for Happy Hour. They said said hour was over, but I read reviews that said they advertise for Happy Hour but visitors have a hard time getting the HH menu. Not sure what is up with that.We ordered from the regular menu. My friend had a California roll and I had the spicy tuna roll. The sushi was fresh. I will go back earlier and see if they do have a HH hour food menu. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and a nice size bar. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor."

The best sushi spot in Boca! Their sushi is very fresh and their main dishes are very good too. They can even make certain dishes gluten free if you have allergies. Highly recommend going for their happy hour!

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
