"Not terrible but not impressive. Jambalaya should be served over rice not engulfed in rice. A ramekin of rice in a wide bowl and ladle jambalaya, red beans or gumbo overtop. Also seemed the heat level was just heat and no flavor with that heat. Be carefulwith what heat level you choose. Cayenne is strong. Also more creole than cajun with the odd tomato in it. The boudin is so overpowered by a strong taste of sage. Not even the correct spices. They are more like fried stuffing balls instead of boudin balls.Those two (jambalaya and boudin balls) aren 't terrible. And to those unknowing, okay. Food absolutely delicious! My fav is zydecos pasta without the pasta. Generous portions. Wonderful service, very personable and genuine. Popcorn shrimp, alligator and okra were great also

I love this place!! The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the service is impeccable!! I love that they have 1/2 plates, I always get the shrimp and grits (trust me, they?re amazing!! and then order another 1/2 plate. This last time I gotthe gumbo and had them make it spicy, man, so good; their sweet potato fries and sauce, magnificent!! Definitely on my places togo whenever I?m out that way!!
