"Would give this place 8/5 if I could. I never had pork as crispy and perfectly cooked as here, from Michelin star restaurants to hole in the walls in Asia. If I were Anthony Bourdain, I would put this place on the map. We stopped at New Years and the owners were closed early, but they offered us to make crispy pork with onions and tomatoes because it would be fast. We had fun watching the chickens nearby. The food was well worth the waiting made to order fresh, the crispy pig was perfectly salted and incredibly crispy. The chopped onion and tomato salad was a delicious supplement. Even the rice was perfectly finished. If we got eggs, they would have been perfect. If you are looking for a perfect foodie experience in Lahaina I would highly recommend checking this food truck, then go half a block to Ululani for excellent shaving ice cream. This place is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow! (See my pictures)"

"Love ground pepper on my salad. When it was delivered, the person dropped it in front of me and left. No words spoken and no chance for me to ask. 5-6 minutes later our server came by and noticed I had not started on my salad. She asked if I needed something and I asked for the ground pepper, which she had a small grinder in her pocket and immediately served me some. Rest of service was about the same. Even at the end, we had to ask for coffee with the desserts. They seemed more interested in turning tables than in giving customers an enjoyable dinner experience. We both liked our fish entrees. Wife loved her dessert. My selection turned out to be pretty bland."

"I really didn’t want to like this place because of how tourist it was but it’s well worth it. The deck is great, every table has a view, and the food was right on. The fries could have used a couple more mins in the fryer but the burger was the best I’ve had in weeks. The fish was lacking in flavor a bit but you can’t beat the freshness of the islands. I know it isn’t very island-like or Hawaiian but you can find something for everyone on the menu. I recommend."

"The view was incredible, the food was delicious, and I will definitely return. While waiting for our table, we sat at the bar which was a bit slow and the drinks were too sweet and expensive. Next time, I will skip the bar. The staff was very friendly and it was an overall great experience."

"So good, so good! And REAL food. Super fresh full of flavor. We went twice on our trip. Tried the Tara burger, raw pad Thai, sushi-Rita wrap, moku bowl. And the homemade love sauce, WOW. We bought 3 bottles to take home. I love that they use organic, local food are zero waste. A MUST GO TO! And as a bonus, the staff is incredible, very kind welcoming. "Coming from Arkansas, traveling strongly and costly, we were delighted to try the ?#1 fine restaurant in the USA?. This review is by TripAdvisor, so sure no James Beard, but interesting no less. We ordered a few bottles of wine from a decent, good price list. The Poke appetizer was the star of the show. The scallops were good, but rich. The short rib was good. The Dessert sampler is a great idea because we could not decide that the lime cake was the best of the four (peanut butter, lava cake and berry cake were the other three we have). Our waitress was beautiful, attentive and very informative. The decor is a bit dated beach y themed.. it was beautiful, white tablecloth, but borders on the edge of the fine dining and chess. I would have expected more for ?#1 in the USA?. That was the most beautiful place where we ate in Lahaina. Was it the best we ever eat? No. The food was very solid. Was the service?#1? But they were great. Dinner was the nicest? we had in Lahaina and would come back when in town. I'm gonna dream about the Poke."

"We thought the food was good, but overpriced for what you get. Our twice-baked potatoes were cold. We ordered a piece of cheesecake to go our server said it was definitely large enough for two, but when we got back to our room opened up the to-go container, we were very disappointed to find a very small piece of cheesecake. We should have definitely ordered pieces."

"was there 5 years ago and couldn't wait to return again. the food wasn't the same. ordered ahi tuna steak- it was cooked well done. not what I would have imagined. service was not great either. had waitress try to take my glass of wine while some wine was still in it. when I pay 20 for a glass of wine, I want to drink the entire glass. same thing with my remaining tuna steak, my husband wanted to eat it and the waitress tried to clear it away. very disappointed ... especially for the money."

"The restaurant was not busy, so it was a great option for a hungry vegan family of 4! But the parts were rather disappointing. The Margarita pizza (Bäckkäse $3) was only filled about 2/3 of the way. The Penne Pomodoro was about 8 10 bits not enough for my husband. The Focaccia w/ olive oil, balsamic Italian herbs were hands down the BEST! We had just ordered 4 of those updated by the previous rating on 2022 12 19"

"Best Breakfast with a view on Maui! I was hesitant to write a review for selfish reasons, we have been coming to this spot for 8 years for Breakfast and it is always consistent and surprisingly not very busy, this is truly one of the hidden gems on Maui. Get there early for a window seat. Lobster or Crab Benedict is Amazing... I would recommend splurging the extra 3$ for the lobster : !!! Calamari is a great appetizer as well! They also have a pro shop next door with great souvenirs."

"My wife and I ate dinner and breakfast at Cane and Canoe on 16. November for our honeymoon. My wife needs gluten-free and this residue was extremely accredited. Delicious Gf waffles or pancakes with a large plate of fruit. We decided that this was the best breakfast we ever had, so we would return to dinner. With expectations high for dinner. We let them know before the time it was our honeymoon, so they reserved the best table for us, as shown in the photos. The cook gave us a free veggie cup that was great. The food was delicious. I'll recite this remnant for every meal. Yes, the price is high, but welcome to Maui lol. It's 2022 everything in the world is expensive nowadays. I ordered a lobster and it costs $40, which is appropriate for lobster in Maui. We are so happy with our choice of staying at assembly and we are happy, as a great rest as a visit whenever we need."
