"Great location! Clean, staff was nice, food was good! You can dine in this location or sit on patio. I ordered the chicken bowl. I visited June 8, girls at the front were awesome and the guy on grill cooked up some good food. As usual it’s busy, so be patient."

"I've never had a bad experience at Jan's. The food is great and prices reasonable. My dad and I first came here a couple years ago and were very pleased with the service and quality of food here. I've since brought my mom here to let her see why my dad and I enjoyed this place so much. I don't live in Montgomery anymore but when I come back for a visit this is a go to place for me."

"Came here today with my husband and we had an amazing time. The whole visit was perfect from the staff to the ambience to the amazing design of the building.We started with a tasting and the woman who was helping us was super nice, personable and knowledgeable. My favorite wines were the Rosè, Riesling, Sav blanc and I loved the Rosè cava at the bar as well. My husband loved all of the reds he tasted as well. We got to talking to the bartender... she was so nice and personable. We have been to almost 40 wineries/vineyards and this one was one of our favorites. We look forward to our next visit!"

"newks is a good choice if they are looking for a fast and possibly healthier choice to eat on their lunch break. I have been here since the opening many times and most of the time my meal is good. the pandemic causes a lot of company a hit and newks is not a take. eating is still good, but most customers like me choose to go their meals. they have opened the restaurant for indoor eating, but it is not too busy in the rule, except during the lunch hours on factory days. we came on a Saturday, so it was quite with a steady stream of people who came in and out. "Excellent food, but I really respect the generosity of management. There's an older, homeless veteran hanging around Montgomery. Maybe you saw him with his crutches and his shopping cart. He is very respectful and grateful for any help he receives. In a cold night last winter I brought Togo food for my family and saw him in the back of the restaurant at the door. I offered to pay for him a hot meal, but the bartender informed me that he was eating free in the cozy grapes. I saw them grab a soup for him. Many restaurants would run a slightly exposed homeless, but not the cozy grapes. Maybe that was the only warm thing he had on that day. Their compassion and generosity have really impressed me and they will always have our business."

"I've come here for a few weeks with a group of friends on Sundays (I know, I know: the church crowd afterwards, and I can't say enough wonderful things. My food is always hot and tasty, things are clean and tidy, and my coffee and water always seem magically filled. In terms of service (if all employees are fantastic Maggie is just wonderful - maybe not juuusssttt wonderful. She is about friendly, patient and professional. Food was hot and delicious no complaints, service was also nice the girls at the front were courteous and helpful since this was our first time eating here. Read some of the reviews please do not take them into consideration when deciding to eat hereSince most of the complaints are about the drive thru close it down and have patrons come in and order this will eliminate the problem. You do not get hot food of any kind from a drive thru go in and sit down or order inside to avoid issues"

"I was there at opening and was seated immediately. I went to sample legit southern cooking. No disappointments. I had an very filling lunch of baked chicken, collard greens, fried green tomatoes, and cucumbers. Added ice tea and banana pudding. For $12.50, it was a great value and I got the southern culture as a bonus...from the wait staff and the patrons. I am writing this review in a coffee shop of a major casino where I was just charged $7 for a glass of ice tea. Do you want good value in warm surroundings or lousy value in a corporate entertainment palace? Choose wisely!"

"4.7 This place was really damn good! The appetizer tiny angel rolls, delight! Tom Kha broth was a tad spicy, but nothing to worry about. "I liked it! I had a fried shrimp po' boy. It was tasty. There could have been more shrimp on there as there were bites of po' boy that didn't have any shrimp and everyone knows a po' boy is supposed to be overflowing with toppings. The bread seemed like it had been frozen and then thawed out because it was crumbly. But it did seem like bread you'd get from New Orleans and I prefer it being frozen to using a sub bun. I had two drinks. I think my first one was called a Southern Smash. It had lemonade, cucumber, and mint. Maybe strawberries too. It was refreshing. My second drink was delish! It was the strawberry moonshine twist. It packed a real punch. I'd eat there again. I'd really give it a 3.5 star if I could because I think it's worth more than a 3 but not quite a four."

"I was disappointed with the Pad Woon Sen and Poh Taek (Seafood Tom Yum Soup) I had at this restaurant. The flavors were not as I had expected and lacked the sour, salty, and spicy taste that I usually enjoy in these dishes. Additionally, the rice served was not jasmine rice, which is typical at most Thai restaurants, but I think I got served (low-grade) extra long grain rice? The Poh Taek was priced at almost $20, yet the seafood tasted like it had been previously frozen and thawed multiple times. Overall, I was not satisfied with the quality of the food. Thai tea was good though!"

"I have been going to McKenzie's for years and I always get the baked potato with meat. Unfortunately I was so disappointed with my food this time. My potato was dried out like it was over cooked or old. Also the chopped beef was dried out I couldn't even eat my food. Money wasted. I definitely won't be returning."
