"Restaurant had been recommended to me. Going to be in Hiawatha area regularly for business over the next couple of years and stopped into First Street Bar and Grill for lunch. Don 't be in any hurry! I sat down at a table and waited...waited...waited...After fifteen minutes and not even being given a menu I got up and left. They were busy but with only one guy taking care of all the tables I may not have the time it requires to dine there. I don 't know if they can 't get the help needed or they just operate that lean. I have heard about a number of employers in this corner of Kansas that want to hire people but can 't find applicants for the open positions. However, I don 't have the luxur...

They went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. Kept us fed and watered. The steak I ordered was just great. The restroom could be bigger? Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
