"My husband and I went here to celebrate our 12th anniversary tonight. I have so many good things to say! Let me start with the hostess ... she was the sweetest lady seemed to genuinely enjoy her job. It's so nice when the first person to greet you is kind full of joy. Our waitress, Andrea, was new, but she was fantastic! Very kind, attentive to the perfect extent! She didn't hover but she came by at just the right times to check in on us. Our food was great! They first brought us freshly made, warm bread that was delicious! The presentation of our dinners was perfect! My husband had the fried shrimp and found the batter to be very tasty! I ordered a ribeye steak, loaded baked potato asparag...

First off ..the food was good even if the portions where VERY small.nice staff and decent restaurant. Over priced. The crab cakes 12$ for a small biscuit sized cake with very little crab. The stuffed crab also not worth it. My shrimp dinner photo is below.

The chicken fettuccine was awful. Pasta was a clump of pasta stuck together and over cooked. Alfredo sauce was watery and bland tasting. Chicken was terrible! My mom had the baked shrimp with potato. The shrimp was over cooked and terrible. None of us could finish what we ordered and we were very hungry!!! I would not recommend this place if you want a nice dinner.

"Fun restaurant, this is something else for Rockport. We tried the slider sampler, seafood Mac and cheese, cream from crab soup and Calamari. We enjoyed all the food we tried! They also had the best beer and bourbon selection I saw in this area. I just want to see more plates for every diner so that the different foods are not eaten on your plate. Maybe give each person 3 or 4. Great restaurant!"

"Pier77 is still my favorite place for fried fish and shrimp. The batter they use is thin and crispy. We ordered the combo fish and shrimp plate to share and we couldn't finish it all. The French fries are fantastic. All the servers are very helpful and friendly."

"I was there three times to give the food another chance, but I really don't think the sandwiches are so good. I heard good things about the chicken salad, but I'm just not a fan of it in general, so I didn't say anything about it. I think it can be that they are too much of a meat in the sandwich and not enough of the other blows. I got the baked potato soup and when it was placed in front of me, there was a small bowl of blows hidden behind the cup, so I never saw the blow. So I ate a simple potato soup because I didn't know it came to the surcharges. That was a bummer. I thought it just tasted, but maybe it's good when the punches are added. All in all, I'm just not a big fan of the whole taste of the 3 different sandwiches I've tried now, but they have a redeeming quality. This is one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. So A on it!"

"Well, the food was really good, but I felt it was a bit expensive for how good. My big comment is that the pages were slandered while the meat seasons almost exaggerated the duck. If you ate them together, they were very good, but not everyone likes to combine them in a bite. We had fried, cooked, panned shrimps. We had pasta and potatoes. We had the tomato bisque and sidsalate. The dressing seemed in the house, and they were good. However, I recommend them on the side. They were very rich and too much was on my salad. The staff was nice and the artwork was a nice touch. It leans on a fancier outfit, but they don't have us in our shorts and flip-flops, which goes a long way with me. I'd go back."

"One of the best, if not best, Cafe's in Rockport. Our 30th anniversary in Rockport. We have breakfast there every 3 morning. The food was great. The best was the friendly staff. It is so nice to go to a small town and experience the welcoming and friendly nature of the locals. We had grown up our 13-year-old town, granddaughter with us and she was amazed at how friendly the staff was. This knowledge of her made the whole journey worth it. Thank you, JJ's, stop the great work."
