"Restaurant closed early and I wasn't notified of the early closing despite having confirmed Open Table Reservations. I made reservations for two for Petro's Kafe for 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 9. The previous day I had received an email from Open Table confirming my reservation. When my wife and I walked the six blocks to the restaurant for dinner and arrived at 7:45, we discovered that the restaurant was closed. We drove to Buellton (six miles away) and had a delightful dinner at the Hitching Post. This is such a great place. We dine here often. Today's entree was the gyro with salad and the lemon rice soup. The service was excellent and the food delicious, as usual.

Given other reviews we expected the meatball appetizer to be unusual. We were disappointed to find rather bland simple meatballs. We split a lamb pasta. The lamb was overcooked. The baklava was excellent.
