Found this restaurant on yelp and decided to stop in on our why down to Long Island for Thanksgiving. They are close to the Thruway exit 21B. 3.5 to 4 stars The place is quite large with lots of seating area and off shoot areas for small groups. The service was very good. 2.5 stars A friend saw this place on Yelp so we thought we could give it a try. Since it was for a Saturday dinner so we made reservation in advance. When we arrived there were about one third of people in the restaurant. The interior looks good and the place looks clean. We had to wait for everything, starting from our waiter coming to greet us and serving us water. Tap water was disgusting, it had very bad and fishy smell, we had to order sodas and other drinks instead. Our waiter was friendly but he didn't seem to know what he was doing. It's a bit of a drive, but not too bad if you take the thruway. The good news is that Red's is again serving Sunday Brunch (buffet . The menu for brunch is supposed to be on Facebook (so I was told but it doesn't always appear until the Saturday before. That being said, the day we went for the buffet I can say our food was very good. There was a carving station for a beef and a ham.
