"We’re in the midst of enjoying our dinner at this outstanding restaurant. My wife had the potato truffle soup and I finished what I would consider the finest plate of pork belly that I ever tasted. The pork belly was balanced, crispy with a outstanding sauce and unusual cabbage finish. An outstanding dish. We enjoyed the main course as much as a starter. I had the schnitzel which was outstanding, crispy and more than an ample portion. The wife had the lamb which was beautifully presented in the unusual fashion looked and tasted great. Excellent wait staff and some Sommelier. I highly recommend this restaurant."

Das Lokal ist kulinarisch ein absoluter Genuss. Auch das Ambiente gefällt uns sehr gut. Wir waren zu einem Abendessen dort. Alle Gänge waren hervorragend. Die Weinempfehlung zu den einzelnen Gängen war perfekt wir haben uns diesbezüglich durch den Abend begleiten lassen. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert vor allem zu besonderen Anlässen und Feiertagen.

You do not meet such places too often: a well decorated, sufficiently large table; professional but warm and friendly service; competent advice on wine selection and possibility to taste and compare before ordering; and above all: a variety of excellent dishes. Dinner was unforgettable and next time in Salzburg we will definitely return. Brunnauer must not have a Michelin star (yes, must be close! but is more convincing than many Stars restaurants.
