"The food, pancakes and French toast was actually pretty good (7/10). However, the service wasn’t so good. We received an additional short stack of pancakes which weren’t ordered. As soon as they arrived we informed the waiter and he told us the mistake was our fault and because ‘it’d gone into the system’ he wasn’t allowed to cancel it or offer to take it off the bill. We spoke to another waiter 15 minutes later and were told that forcing someone to buy something they didn’t order, wasn’t their policy but because the manager wasn’t there, there was nothing he could do. I’ve honestly have never been told I had to buy something because a waiter refused to accept he made a mistake. He finally told us to pack the pancakes for takeaway and give them to a homeless person."

"The hunt to find this location was enchanting. It?s located in a Historical district and the lovely shop owners were very welcoming. I tried the chili dog and the flavors were phenomenal, I only wished the portion was a little larger. Their desserts are astounding! I would have tried all of them had I happened to have the opportunity. Traveling to this location was extremely enjoyable and the flavors were definitely worth sampling! Overall, fantastic vegan edibles!"

"Food was great. We loved the octopus and short rib. The fresh tortilla chip rounds were amazing and the CDMX taco and the roasted green sauce were phenomenal. Service table side was good when interacting with the server but overall the operations were really slow and everything seemed really difficult from getting seated to waiting forever to get even chips, the order of food as it came out was wonky (appetizer came out after our meals missing a serving spoon), etc. The tortilla soup was great but is so MASSIVE. They should really warn you when ordering a bunch of other food. We ordered two! One person got a spoon for their soup, the other person did not. Had to wait a while to get a spoon. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and there were no paper towels or hand dryers. I told someone at the bar. Later on my husband also went to the restroom and came back saying there were no paper towels in the mens. This is after me telling staff about the women's 10 min prior. It makes me nervous when operations are so out of step. Are people stressed, rushed in the kitchen, is our food being handled and stored properly? I do like the atmosphere and most of our dishes were super flavorful, even the margarita was really good, which says a lot but hope they really streamline their operations."

"Their food and ambience is good. But they are very racist. They only behave or serves well if you are from influencial family or large group of people. They don’t bother to serve properly to small group of people. Most of the times they forget to serves items to small group of people while gossiping with influencal families. If you ask for that item, they'll not say even sorry. Moreover, they'll show unnecessary attitude. People buy food from their place with their own money to eat food not to see their attitude. They should teach employees how to serves customers, not how to differentiate customers. Totally disappointed. It happened 4-5 times."

"First Time Review How fun to have an actual meal while watching a movie!You check in with the cashier at the Alamo Drafthouse and then ride the escalator up to the movie theater. This has been here for quite some time. How did I finally experience this at age 52??? I need to get out more!The bathroom stalls are unisex and an open sink area to wash your hands. I'm ok with all this found this so fascinating. Each stall is your own private toilet room. Tiled floor to ceiling. So cool!!!We ordered the following (sorry no photos):•Truffle Parmesan Popcorn•Chicken Cesar•Breakfast Club (came with fries, delicious!)Come early if you want to order the Blueberry Donut French Toast Bake. Our movie started at 10am and they ran out of the BDFT Bake.Everything we ordered was delicious!!! The flavored popcorn was a delicious twist to plain buttered. The Breakfast Club has arugula lemon aioli which I think is great paired with the thick cut bacon and fried egg. The Cesar Salad came with your choice of crispy or grilled chicken. We went grilled. AND they have Sweet Tea!!!! YUMMO!Service was great!!! There are little sheets of paper a pen. Write down whatever you would like to order or are in need of, press a button a server comes over to see what is needed. Love this system. Minimal disturbance to your neighboring moviewatchers. Brilliant!!I really cant wait to go watch a movie here again. It is such a treat! And after the movie, go back down the escalator checkout the bar/pub vibe to chillax with a beer enjoy music of the DJ. Who would have thought you could eat brunch, watch a movie, order drinks chillax at a pub all in one location!!!Thanks for reading."

"Service was amazing- so ironic that the one place I want to tip is progressive and headed in the right direction by not allowing tips and actually paying their servers a decent wage! Crazy stuff Food was so good. We have lived in Lebanon and this place’s hummus was the first authentic hummus we have since leaving Lebanon- it had the right spices and texture no other place has managed yet. The vegetable pizza was talked up a lot and seemed good from the menu but was actually kind of disappointing I would avoid. My Mom looves thé impossible burger (you have to ask for it) she says it’s comparable to Cheesecake Factory’s which has been the gold standard for impossible burgers according to her. Thé scallops are to die for- so well cooked to perfection. The mushrooms in the scallop dish could however be replaced with a mushroom sauce or some other sauce- as they were the mushrooms were a touch bland."

"Had to try the famous Jollibee! Stopped by for lunch and surprisingly the place was not too crowded. There is an option to order in line and order at the kiosk. We opted to order via kiosk since there was a line. It will assign you a beeper too so you'll know when your order is ready. Once the order was placed, it did not take long before we received our food. We ordered the spicy chickenjoy meal with mash potatoes and gravy and a side of spaghetti. The chicken had a nicecrunch, was juicy, and packed good heat. Would order that again. The spaghetti was not quite our jam. It is sweet. We knew going in but wanted to try anyway. There was also an upstairs dining area that was closed."

"With a party of 6 4 of our plates were not hot and the traditional French toast and wings were both dry. I'm thinking the French toast was dry, due to the fact that I opted not to order with toppings. The wings were just dry and not hot. On the positive side the establishment had Eclectic decor, which provided some interest. A portion of the restaurant has a retractable roof that's great for giving an indoor outdoor feel, but uncomfortable on sunny days once retracted; so be aware when being seated. Self parking is available behind the restaurant and curbside parking is also an option."

"At the recommendation of other reviewers, we arrived a little after 5 and seating was available. Noticed the restaurant was crowded by 6:15. The food was tasty and the biscuits divine! We shared the black berry cobbler with ice cream and enjoyed it very much. Definitely recommend eating here!"

"I was referred by a chef in Telluride to try this place out while I was in town, and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the menu layout and I decided to make myself a 3 course meal from it that I could pair with a wine. The oysters were packed full of flavor and a great starter that led to the octopus. I would have to say the Octopus was my favorite of the 3 dishes as the sauces placed around it all added different flavor profiles that complimented the taste of the octopus well. To finish my meal I had the bolognese pasta. I believe it was mushroom. This entire plate was scraped clean sauce and all and I was not apologetic about it. Every course left me amazed with the amount of flavor they produced, and I was glad to have stopped in. The service at the bar was great and the wine paired well with all of my selections."

He's been vegan for decades and shared with us a plethora of diet and health advice, delving into topics like live gut bacteria, the benefit of leafy greens, etc. He clearly cares about his customers' health. He explained that he tries to avoid serving fried food, sugary drinks, etc. There is a single-stall bathroom in the back of the kitchen that you have to be escorted to. Give this place a try. "I’d been dreaming of visiting Crossroads Kitchen for Years!! As soon as my family and I stepped in we were greeted by the friendly hostess, that is always super important! I let her know how thrilled I was to finally be there, I think she could tell haha she was really lovely! She sat us at a really nice spot and right away we got water and our server took over. The vibe there is so good, it’s so beautiful and just relaxing. We went for lunch time so it was so bright and I couldn’t stop looking all around. My kids aren’t full plant based yet but there was food that made them very happy, PASTA with butter for my son, IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN NUGGETS and fries for my teen and they absolutely loved the raspberry SORBET! To start, for my husband and I ordered the WEDGE salad and WOW I can’t stop thinking about that amazing salad especially the blue cheese on it! We also ordered the CALAMARI FRITTI, my husband isn’t fully vegan (yet) but he said he liked it a lot more than the squid calamari. Afterwards we ordered the TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE and it was so good I don’t think anyone eating it would not realize it was vegan. And we ordered the BURGER and asked for TRUFFLE FRIES instead of regular, so freken good!!! We’ve gone twice this year and from now on any time we visit beautiful LA we are definitely coming here!!"
