"we had a group of 7 on a Tuesday night, and the place was empty in a round. our service was still very slow and at one point we were asked to give up our menus so that another group could have them. (they only have 8 menus?) I am vegan and with the server made clear that the pistachio paper could be made vegan, as it was so marked on the online menu, but not the paper menu. they assured me it could be made vegan. when we ordered, I asked about the pistachio palace made vegan. When it arrived, it would be. the service was already slow and I didn't want to cause a scene (and I'm not allergic to cheese or something,) so I just ate it and it wasn't good. it was lukewarm with bells made of molte...

absolutely amazing breakfast in the blue star caffe and pub (not to confuse with blue stars donuts in portland.) I am not the biggest fan to go to eat breakfast, but the sacred cow this place has amazing food. the keks was huge and the gravy and jam were delicious! Some of the best cared cork bunny I ever had! perfectly spiced and soft. also great service and it will not give them a poor and a bite!

some places have a call to size in the common wallingford, and blue star is one of them. Finally, had a chance to visit here a few weeks ago and while the food and atmosphere lived up to expectations, the service fell short when our waiter seemed to be preoccupied all the time, hardly came to check us, and felt simply uninterested, even if they agreed. I understand that many places have to do with personal problems, and I take into account when we leave evaluations that we have dictated before peak hours on Friday night when it was not very busy, first place, which also weighs in my assessment. will eventually return to the future as eating was good, so this review can be updated to reflect...

"I can't even count how many times I ordered from U:Don. While I had not the pleasure to eat, I have become a bit more regular with takeout. portions are excellent, noodles are thick and filling, generous with the meat and give up, and cheap. I could not be happier with my experiences so far, and plan to order regularly. if they are not familiar with soy-based udon, they do one please and instead try the kakuni pork suppe udon as it always makes me absurdly cozy, especially in winter!"

"The place gets warm with the open kitchen despite the ac and a crack window so might be better to sit outside or do to go.This is a place where you order and pay up front , then bring out the food and you bus your own tables. Table and water are in a corner.My fried said her fried rice was too salty.My fried chicken bowl with no rice was tasty so my review is a reflection of the food I got. The chicken was not soggy despite covered in sauceThe rice bowls that both of my friends got were steaming hot. They had to wait for it to cool down before eating."

"I want to say thank you to Cathy! She provides the best service!!! Homegrown is one of my favorite salad place. I always ordered from the Capitol Hill one and they have default to dressing on the side. This is my first time ordering here but they have dressing mixed in. I was soooo hungry and when I saw the dressing mixed in, I wanted to cry because that is way too oily for me. I came back to the store and someone told me I have to specifically mention that I want the dressing on the side. I was thinking I’ll never order from here anymore. I wanted to cry. BUT Cathy came out and said she want me to satisfy and she can make one for me!!! OMG The best service!!!! Thank you Cathy"

I stood there confused and then another person came to help. her version of a keks was super dry, covered with a very rubbery jam. I asked for a hot mocha, it was barely served lukewarm. it is not worth a 2nd attempt."
