"Our team went to Kaname Izakaya when our boss was in town from corporate headquarters. I was looking for a place where 6 people would be able to sit comfortably and be able to get back to the office without too much delay (which meant I didn 't want us to have to wait for multiple 2-tops to clear and be pushed together in the lunch rush). I looked on open table and the menu here looked wonderful. When I took the team, everyone was really excited about the menu options (but wished ramen were available). As we ate and again as we walked back to the office, the whole team kept telling me what a great pic and thanks for finding that place and talking about the dishes they want to try next time....

Had 5:00 reservations when they opened and server was new and did a great job, very kind. Plenty to eat and the food was great.

We appreciated their flexibility because we started with a reservation for 6 but the number increased to 10. They did not rush us even though they normally close at 9 p.m. We love the gobo fries! Everyone enjoyed their entrees.

My husband and I were visiting Seattle and had a disappointing sushi experience at a popular restaurant the night before. We were looking for good quality sushi at a reasonable price and we were so happy that we found Kaname Izakaya. Not only was the fish really fresh and the flavors excellent, but everyone who worked there was so friendly. The chef even came out to check on us and to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We were completely satisfied and would go back for sure.
