on holiday to my birthday. decided to eat here because it is part of the hotel. very good drinks. very good staff. very quiet, but probably because I was there in autumn, but it was worth it. I would recommend it.

We had a lovely birthday dinner at The Dunes. The lobster tacos were a great appetizer as was the ciopino (though clams a bit sandy). Entrees were big portions and tasty as well. Would have liked more vegetable entrees or side choices. Our server was super friendly and generous. A much improved dining experience from last year. Oh and also loved the new fire pit on deck.

"Goodness, I was bummed- We came back a year later after having a great experience in the patio and this time the experience was a miss. Blasé staff mentally with a menu, host sat us next to a huge loud party in a room full of empty tables- they seemed eager to clear our plates. I do have to say the dirty martini’s were AMAZING and entrees were on point! But the loud atmosphere and service… I was ready to get out, no dessert just the bill please… we went on Main Street for dessert and had a much better experience and best of all felt like valued guest. I would go back, but it might be a bit as the restaurant’s in the area have a lot to offer."

"Nice diner. All the favorites. Good was good and came out quickly. It was busy, so service lacked a bit, it took us a while to order but the ladies on the floor are super nice and they cared. "This is very overdue we've been going to the Vineyard for 12 years, and Hank's always serves the best meal(s of our trip. I usually get the Farm Share, and my mom's favorites are the salmon and the cod. Everything is plated beautifully. Cocktails are also great (blood orange mojito! , and the service is lovely. They substituted part of my dish to accommodate my food allergy which I really appreciate. Love love love this place. Service: Dine in"

"Four stars by vineyard standards, where there are lots of overpriced mediocre places. The coffee is some of the better coffee in Edgartown, the food is pretty good but varies dramatically day to day. Breakfast burrito was great one day, sloppy the next. The avocado toast was ice cold avocado on barely toasted bread, not good. Overall one of the better breakfast options, and has a great outdoor patio."

"This place is clearly very popular because there was a queue outside the restaurant before it opened for 5:30 p.m. dinner service on a very rainy Saturday night. Once open, the restaurant quickly filled up with diners. Tables tend to be closer together because of how busy it gets, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, meaning things can get a little loud. Service was the right level of attentive: staff were very friendly and they were good about clearing plates and utensils when it’s clear diners are done eating. The daily fish specials are posted on a chalkboard inside. Overall, the food was very good. The buffalo brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese were very good but for $18? Feels steep. My husband enjoyed his tuna, which was served like an elevated poke bowl and had Asian influences. I got the seared cut cod special, and enjoyed the sweet corn and mushroom risotto that came on the side: it was appropriately warm and cozy feeling for the rainy day, and brightened by the bursts of sweet freshness from the corn."
