We were there for a while and it seems that many of these reservations were canceled or were not shows because there were many open and unoccupied tables. That makes sense. Upscale food, Metro chic atmosphere, small corners for privacy, attentive waiting staff, quite affordable prices. Everybody win! Choosing to eat exactly WAS is a very difficult decision. calls for more than one visit.

AWOME SERVICE This is my second time here. The drinks are always phenomenal!!!!! The service by far is the best I had in a long time Harvey had his twin made our night .. See you soon. If you want a good food big drinks and great service, it is a must to stop....

Arrived Thursday evening around 5:40 pm, no reservation. No tables available, but sat at bar, which had 2 stools open. Ordered a 12 oz. Burger with bistro fries, as did my wife. Single bartender, but provided service in reasonable time. Food was great, one of the best burgers in this area. Fries were good, but nothing special.

"I had a good time having dinner at this restaurant. The wait service was friendly and efficient, too bad the kitchen couldn't keep up with it. It took a while for the appetizers to arrive, and then a lot longer for the main courses. Overall, the majority of dishes were very good with the exception of their signature dish Blackened Dorado as it was overcooked."

"Absolutely a great food experience! Creative food and excellent service! First customer and we will return! UPDATE. We've been here about 10 times in the last few months. This is by far the best overall eating experience we had in Beaufort. Just a great setting of great food, friends and great service! Try the Escargot or Shrimp appetizer. Salad, each of the secondi, pizza or main courses. Drinks are creative. This place rocks! Reservations recommended, but the bar will first come serve first. Enjoy"

"We loved this place. Stopped by for lunch. My margarita was delicious . My wife got the pork belly taco . I got the blackened shrimp and fried chicken taco. They give you a double corn soft tortilla under the mound of toppings. You can make 2 tacos if you want. The toppings are fresh and delicious. This is a must restaurant in Beaufort South Carolina."

"We have wanted to try Griffin Market for a few years (yes, years). We had an Italian exchange student and thought this might be a good taste of home if it was as authentic as we thought it might be. It was an amazing experience. From the interaction from the owner to watching the dinning room interaction it was a great experience. Food: I was delighted. Every appetizer will come to the table and you share it around like a family meal. Everything was amazing and I was left wanting more. Everyone said they were worried about eating too much because they have more courses coming. The portions were perfect. Every dish was cleaned and everyone was full. The flavors were just amazing. Our exchange student said it made her think of going to her grandmother’s house in Sunday. The ox tail was superb and the pastas were in perfect. If you are looking for Olive Garden then go to Olive Garden and don’t complain about real Italian food. Our bill was a little over $500 for 6 people (3 teenagers and 3 adults) and only 3 additional drinks besides water; worth every penny. We will be back for sure."
