"The worst place ever! Went for a dinner with a friend of mine, we got there at 8:25 for all you can eat, the girl said that the last call for the all you can eat was at 9, and she didn’t accept us for...the all you can eat, we had to choose from the menu, till there fine!!!!! We ordered the food and drinks, for my surprise I was looking to the kitchen we the girl was picking my food to bring to the table when one of the sushi rolls fell on the floor, and she PICKED IT UP FROM FLOOR and she put it back on my plate.... when she arrived to my table I told here to bring it back because I saw what happened, and I called the manager.... I explained the situation and she apologized about that... fine! 10 minutes later, the manager came to my table again saying that she went to check on the cameras and she told me that the girl she didn’t put it back in my plate, she had putted on her wrist.... lie!!! She did put o my plate and even she fixed with her finger... I told the manager to not argue with me and I asked her to bring me the camera records, and she said that computers was on the office and she couldn’t bring it to the front..... once again I told her, it’s done I don’t wanna know more about it..... to finalize the story she came back again, with other words calling me a liar, and she had the video on the phone, that I needed to apologize the poor girl because she was new in the restaurant, (after a few times in different occasions I went there and she was serving there last month)... I asked her, how can I apologize a person that never showed up on my table after what happened? Felt on the floor, stays on the floor and ask to the kitchen for a new roll... don’t pick it up or even put on your wrist and go to a client table.... and she did put on my plate I saw it... and they came to call me a liar... that lady she can be everything she wants, but she doesn’t have qualifications to be a manager, don’t go to your costumer table give attitude, or discuss something that really happened and call your client a liar with other words.... after I payed my bill she kept saying that I needed to apologize the girl... and I refused because her attitude, and she showed me the door for me to leave, I raised my voice because she kept calling me a liar,... this place is disgusting, no professionalism, if the food fells on the floor it goes back to clients table! Just one of the girls with long braids was nice since the beginning... the rest of them full of attitude,... I don’t recommend this place to anyone! Was my last time there, it’s ridiculous, no hygiene! How many times they did this already? Can you guys trust in a restaurant like this? Plus they was swiping the floor with costumers in the dinning room, the bucket with the mop in the middle already waiting for the costumers to get the hell out of there! I’m gonna be honest, I raised my voice it’s a fact, but it only happens when someone calls me a liar and pretends to make me the wrong one!!!! Horrible, horrible, and horrible! I should put this on the TV news, because it’s so ridiculous! Don’t spend money on places that they don’t care about clients, they just care about money.... and you lost a client! You guys should be closed for ever!"

"the steak was not rare, the server had specially cut us into it to see if it was to our joy when we told her it was not rare that she went and got the manager and owner. they came by to do so when they were looking and going on when to tell us that it was rare and the situation rejected. What was the point of asking us if they make a big thing about it for 1 and 2 don't try to correct it, just say we lie and go away?"

"My wife and I chose Hiro 88 for our New Years Eve dinner. Everything exceeded our expectations! We were seated promptly (we had a reservation), our server appeared promptly, our drinks and appetizer came in a very short time and our meals also were delivered in a perfect timeframe. The apps and sushi were excellent and our server checked on us several times. For a very busy night, everything was flawless, from the host/hostess, our server, and others that brought out drinks, apps and entrees. This is a team concept that works really well. We highly recommend Hiro 88 for a friendly, efficient and excellent dining experience!"

"I ordered food for my friend that was at Motts in Ann Arbor and not only did the pizza show up on time, Michael the delivery driver waited for my friend to go down and get the pizza! He was so polite and respectful while waiting. These days it’s hard to find people that care. So that’s why this review is worth it! On top of it all. "Nice Japanese restaurant in Stone Oak. Walked in and was immediately greeted and given the option to pick any table as it was not crowded. Waitress was very prompt in bringing drinks and taking the orders. She was very friendly and did a great job of constantly stopping by. Ordered the soft shell crab and calamari frito as appetizers. There's not many places to get soft shell crab, so had to try it. It was well-prepared and plated nicely. The batter was very crunch and the soft shell crab very flavorful. The calamari frito was a nice surprise too. It was thicker and sushi grade squid instead of the thinner calamari at most places. For the meals, ordered the Karaegi Chicken, Combo Yakisoba, Mini Chirashi, and two pieces of Yellowtail sushi. The mini chirashi was a nice mix of 3 pieces of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The sushi was all very fresh and of good quality. The seaweed salad that came with it was also really good; I'd even recommend that as an appetizer or side dish. The yakisoba bento meal came with a small salad, gyoza, and small rolls. The salad had a nice dressing, gyoza was nice and crispy, and rolls were what you'd expect. The yakisoba noodles were good, but the meats were a little dry. The karaegi chicken was different and in no related to karaage chicken. It must be their own dish as I'm not familiar with an actual karaegi chicken. Instead of the deep fried karaage chicken, the karaegi chicken is marinated and served in the sauce. It reminded me of a chicken dish you may receive at a Chinese restaurant. Not that it was bad, but was different than I expected. Overall, good experience as the sushi was of good quality and grade. Service was great. I'll probably return and order from the sushi menu."

"we had an early reservation on a Saturday night recently, restaurant was not busy at all! the bartender waited very slowly for us, I was looking forward to her early roles and her kalamari. they were jumping out at 17 o'clock! the kalamari was terrible, handed over and over! they have changed their recipe naturally because it was one of our favourites! my man court was garnelen stir fry and a chicken dish. both limits! our son ordered a sushi dish that was expensive and not very good. it is sad to see a restaurant go in quality and service, we unfortunately crossed it from our list of favorites! very sad as we like to support wheaton and glen ellyn restaurants!"

"feb 2021- in any case do not recommend this location! they save themselves the disappointment and instead try the Oshawa site. a friend and I visited this place today and let the police call us when we mentioned a concern with our bill. without explaining or hearing, they went away and called the police and lied to the officer who said we wanted to flee the restaurant. not once we even left our seat, we were under the impression that they will be back with the final decision of the manager and we are instead greeted by the police on our table. complicated and humiliated. please do not give this place their time and money. 0 star"

"if they want to feed through the top service with ingenious, they go to hapa sushi grill and sake bar. this was our first visit and we will definitely come back. we were received when we entered and our waiter, maxwell let us know our time to choose a drink. he asked if we were going to and when we said no, he was great to make suggestions. he made the evening literally by taking us to the order. when I tried to use the chiffel and laugh, he offered to get other utensils. I told him it was okay because I thought I was going to keep this evening. I love the names of food selection and adult drinks. this is a place to relax, enjoy the food and drink, observe the people and in the position to have a conversation. we're coming back!"

"Tried to order pick up 4 times and was put on hold for over 6 minutes or more at the Landmark location. After the 4th attempt I asked the girl on the phone if they were so busy they couldn't take my order. Her reply was no we aren't busy, but I can take your order now if you like . No apologies or anything. I know restaurants are going down the tubes after the Pandemic, but this is ridiculous. I will not be eating at your amateur sushi spot anymore . The quality there has definitely diminished unfortunately."

"I am giving this restaurant two stars because the sushi was really good, but the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the good sushi, the service was subpar. We were the only customers when we arrived, but four other people came in 30 minutes later and received their food before us. When we inquired about our order, we were given conflicting excuses ranging from losing our order to not even putting it in. The manager apologized, but no one gave a clear explanation for the mistake. Despite the delicious sushi, the disorganized service makes me hesitant to return in the future."
