"When we all arrived, our server with a tattoo on his arm did not introduce himself and lacked proper service. I wanted to complain, but I didn't want to ruin the day. The server would ignore the men, even those who had been there longer, and instead ask the women for drinks, taking each drink order one by one which took an excessive amount of time.
We ordered three appetizers: goat cheese fondue, calamari, and a vegetable dish. The calamari was rubbery and tiny, resembling popcorn chicken. The presentation was also subpar. The goat cheese fondue was disappointing as well, with only five slices of bread and a bowl of cheese. Our entrees arrived and although everyone enjoyed their food, it was not outstanding.
The server only checked on us once and then disappeared. We waited for him to ask about dessert, but he never did. I had to flag him down to inquire about birthday desserts. The chocolate slice I ordered for my mom was delicious, and the bread pudding was good as well. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant unless it was solely for drinks. The atmosphere feels more like a bar than a restaurant, and I would not recommend it for a special occasion."
