"Unbelievable restaurant on this small island in the North Sea. If they don't have at least one Michelin Star, they deserve one, maybe two. Fabulous food elegantly presented. I started with a golden beet soup. Then I had lamb steak served with wild mushroom risotto...and ratatouille. For dessert I chose a plate of several different chocolate dessert samples: chocolate mousse, chocolate ice cream, chocolate cake, etc. It was a work of art, almost too beautiful to eat. Great food, great walk, great wine. But be aware, you may not be sitting privately at one table if you want to eat. This is not like a US restaurant with someone seating you. It is first come first serve and you may meet some...great people

We walked from Norderney town to this great restaurant in the middle of the dunes and close to the beach. It took us minutes in the heat so we enjoyed the cool temperatures inside and the excellent drinks. Food came in large portions and...tasted great probably the best „Matjes“ we had during our stay in Ostfriesland. Service personnel was very friendly and helpful. Despite a fully booked restaurant not too much waiting. At the end they even ordered a taxi for us for safe return. Is this a helpful review?
