We've moved from the DC area; Old Town Stock House is the best, most gourmet restaurant in the NoAL region that we have found since moving here 2.5 years ago. I can address some of the negative comments Yes, the prices are significantly higher than some of the other local establishments but they are absolutely reflective of the superior menu, ingredients, and creativity/flavor profiles. You get what you pay for. So, if you'd rather go pay $15 for fried catfish and okra, then go do that? Fried catfish is delicious. Cute upscale dining in Guntersville. Small and cozy, but aerves a limited menu. Ordered the Wedge Caesar salads. The dressing was excellent, but the salads were quite small and rather plain, lacking the wow factor of most Wedge salads in nicer restaurants. We ordered the lettuce wrap small plates. Good, but, again, very small portions with teeny tiny meatballs. The steak was decent. Service was alright.
