"Wir waren dort 2mal am Abend zum Essen.Beide Male waren wir sehr zufrieden. Auf der Karte gibt es die üblichen italienischen Gerichte, aber auch ein paar andere die man nicht überall findet. Aber am wichtigsten alles was wir bestellt haben, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Spaghetti Pescatora (Mare), Penne al arrabiata, Penne Quadro FormaggiDie Antipasti haben wir ebenfalls getestet und waren sehr zufrieden.Die Pizzen haben wir nur gesehen, von der Optik eine Empfehlung. ;-)Guter Service und die sehr schöne Terrasse zum Minigolfplatz hin runden das ganze perfekt ab.Den Minigolfern zuzuschauen ist ausgesprochen kurzweilig! :-)"

"this is the preferred place to stay at the visit of our colleagues in southern Germany. it is a warm hostland near the Austrian border. not really my cup tee, but typical German land eat no more. large portions of rustikalem .heavy Bavarian speisen. mostly meat than just two fisk dishes on the menu. safe selection would be the carving. very limited choice for vegetarians guess no for vegans. friendly fast service, which serves both drinks from the kitchen, by (usually) English spoken staff."

"do not misunderstand me, the English will be amazed at the prospects of this restaurant and sit there with a drink and enjoy it as I, especially as the sun is. I visited this place over 20 years ago when he was much smaller, and was excited to visit again. the views are obviously the same, but the service is not definitiw. we sat and once they realized that we were English, we were totally ignored. several couples appeared later, were served and even got their drinks/selection times before we got the menu. When the waitress finally arrived, she was positiw aggressiw, cried out loud so that all the others stared, it was very unpleasant, and all we had done to identify us at least 20 minutes earlier was asked if the table was free. we had previously visited only for a drink in the week and received a similar treatment, we had decided that it was only because they were busy and perhaps and from the day, but our fears were confirmed at this second visit. a big scandal, because the situation is stunning, and I have been traveling for over 30 years to Germany and love it, but hummelei has felt very disappointed, certainly not typical of Germany that is almost always brilliant."

"If a restaurant deep in the woods tries to present a "worldwide" menue it can only go wrong. What exactly it did. Sashimi and sushi and other exotic dishes instead of simple but well prepared local dishes. When the aspirations far outpace the chef's capabilities you get this kind of food.We had breakfast, pre-opera snacks and dinner at the restaurant.The food presentation was at best "simple", the sashimi was 3 rather large pieces of Thuna lying somewhat lost on their plate. The roasted Blutwurst was ok but nothing to write home about and the Bratwurst with Kraut a total failure.The breakfast beacon was way to salty and fried to death.Unless you stay at the hotel and don't want to leave eat somewhere else.I have no idea how the positive reports here could evolve.By contrast, the Austrian wines served were really good and reasonably priced. And the service friendly and attentive.So, back to cooking school."
