"I went to this restaurant with 11 friends last night. Everyone received their food, but then our server Kayla C informed me that unfortunately, my burger had been dropped on the floor. They were making another one for me. I waited while my friends ate and eventually, a different server brought me a second burger. As I was halfway through eating it, a third server brought yet another identical burger. I decided to take it home. When it came time to pay the bill, Kayla C charged me for two burgers. food was ok but they gave me a brisk iced tea for my first drink but then I had to ask 5 different servers for another brisk one telling me they dont carry brisk iced tea. And the food took forever to get to us

I was shocked to hear the old, worn-out white waitress with short blond hair say, "This is America, speak English." How can a server speak to customers in such a manner, especially when I was already speaking English, despite being Puerto Rican American? This type of behavior is unacceptable in today's diverse society. It was a rude and unprofessional, racist comment that left me feeling violated, especially since we were discussing Latina authors. Just a reminder to the bitter waitress - there is no official decree stating that the American language is English. There is no national language.
