"we came across this place while we were in watkins glen at farm sanctuary. this was on a recommended list that they provided for us and we are huge fans of cute little coffee shops. they had a few vegan options just ask the owner. many vegetarian options and most (if not all) can be modified vegan made. she also has vegan cheese. we both decided to get the falafel packaging, as it was made fresh to order and our recommendations over it. it was amazing not only the falafel, but it contained other toppings, such as apples, kartoffels, and pickles and they all just worked well together. there are not many vegan options in the opposite, but even if it were this place still one has to stop for t...

stopped here during our day trip to hammondsport. the owner was very knowledgeable about what “vegan” meant. we have the jerusalem laffa sandwich (home made veggie patty with sweet and tomato sauce) together with the falafel package (falafel, hummus, cubed paprika and apple) both were delicious and filled. the falafel is made fresh to order updated by previous review on 2019-06-09

my man and I were thrilled to find a place in hammondsport with really excellent vegan food and an owner/cook who understood our herbal nutrition. we had a falafel sandwich for man, and, because I did not gluten, asnat prepared a delicious apple, tomato, wobbles and fresh minze salat side for me with my four plump and divine falafels. best falafels of all time! yummy slices of sweet and white kartoffels also came with our teller. asnat is charming and our waiting sped by how we relaxed in the comfortable living room we also had a special vegan dessert from sesame seeds and pistachios. terrible! we left with the lens soup for our dinner where we stay. next time we're in the opposite, we'll ea...

"First visit to the Timber Stone Grill while on vacation for my wife's Birthday. They have a nice outside patio seating section to go along with the inside dining and bar. The ambiance is pub style yet the menu and execution are upscale, along with the prices. We started with the Hearts of Romaine salad $12) to share, a well dressed salad with shaved Parmesan cheese, peppercorn and baguette croutons which was very tasty. Next we had the Tuscan Style Calamari $16), capers, olives, scallions, sweet peppers, this was very interesting and quite good, not your standard Calamari for sure. The Birthday girl had the Bistro Tenderloin $38), with green beans and roasted garlic whipped potatoes piped into a decorative pillowy mound. She throughly enjoyed all, the tenderloin cooked to a perfect medium as requested. I went with the Bone in Ribeye $46), topped with bacon, scallions and blue cheese crust with the green beans and whipped potatoes. My steak was a bit past medium as requested one side stayed on too long as demonstrated by the uneven ring), the bacon and blue cheese where a nice addition as the steak sans crust was not that flavorful. I didn't feel it warranted the price as this in the league of steakhouses I frequent and this steak wasn't on that level unfortunately. We ended with 2 Lemon Cheesecakes $8) served with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream and regrettably raspberry sauce garnish which I feel they should ask if you would like added as neither of us like it. The Birthday girl had hers comped which was very nice. Our server Brian was a star, extremely personable and attentive, it was a pleasure watching him work his other tables as well and make time to chat, then wisk away to handle his next task. Overall we had a very nice time at the Timber Stone Grill, a pub with a fine dining menu and presentation. Cheers"
