"The food is always great in the service is excellent. Joseph, the general manager always has a smile on his face and does whatever he can to accommodate our requests. On top of making regular to go orders and occasionally eating at the restaurant, we recently started ordering Larrge sushi platters for Community events. Can't beat the price and the quality and freshness of the sushi is fantastic. Looking forward to coming back again soon."

This has been my wife's and I go to spot for dinner for years. It's a shame my work took me further away from the location, but regardless we can't stay away. Large variety of sushi; always fresh and always good. I like their Chinese dishes as well, but when I go I usually get the sushi. Very good service.

Came in with my 2 year old and 4 year old for an early Sunday dinner. It was our first time there. The experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, most notably, the meat sushi. I ordered a burger for my children, which they loved. We came from a half hour away and I am Confident that we would make the trip back. The service was excellent too! Five stars in my book, something I'm not used to in the kosher world.

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
