"Delicious! Order both the veggie platter and meat platters to share! Worth it! Delicious beef tibs, collard greens, lentils, cabbage, and beets out of this world! Love the food at place. Tenderness of tibs has been variable. Sometimes it's super soft, but honestly, a few times it's a bit tough. Everyone has their good and bad days, so I highly recommend this place. Affordable for NYC. Staff is nice and helpful."

One of my favorite spots in the city. If you’re a vegetarian/vegan this place is a must the veggie combo is outstanding. Super cute vibes and lighting inside.

First time ever having African food. I'd give this a good experience overall, would def come back, but nothing special.. I mean obviously it's not appealing but the food was flavorful and unique with spices, the inside of the restaurant was nice and comforting vibes but it's outdated, and the service was good but the lady over poured my drink lol. Food was ok, service was very poor. Brought to table and sat and waited 20+ minutes without anyone coming by to check in, pour water or take orders. Finally flagged a waiter for water then waited another 10+ minutes to order. When food came out, they had forgotten about the spicy sauce we ordered, then brought out the wrong sauce at first when we asked them for it. Restaurant was maybe 70-80% full.
