"This is the worst dining experience I've ever had. I'm a resident of Charleston, and have dined in many its great restaurants. I had out of town guests, a total of 7 in my party, each of us shared the same disappointment in the food offerings. The duck confit I ordered was uneatable, the duck was so overcooked it was crisp, the polenta cake was burned to the point that it resembled a hockey puck. Appetizers that should have been warm or hot were served room temperature. The bread was stale, other items were obliviously reheated (French-fries tasted like Styrofoam). Had dinner and drinks in the Barbadoes Room Sunday. The food was delicious. The menu offers a variety of different things including a raw bar. The service was excellent and The courtyard is absolutely beautiful.
