"Spent mother's day here and it was a decent experience. It wasn't busy when we got there around 7:30pm on a Sunday. We were able to sit on a larger half booth in the back. The hostess forgot our menus so we waited until the waiter finally came up to getthose for us. He had a bit of a sarcastic attitude for no reason, as we were being extremely nice and relaxed it was mother'sday! His attitude changed by the end of the night, so at least there was that. We did wish there was french food/wine to serveespecially since the restaurant's name is in French, but I had some Sauvignon Blanc from California and it was decent. Had a wonderful brunch at the Bizou. Its built in the old Tampa Courthouse and the food was fabulous. Only complaint is that the service was a bit slow but so many places are short-handed these days. Try it!

Great drinks, great atmosphere, and prime location in the heart of downtown Tampa. Gourmet menu provided great selections with flavors to satiate most palates. Our server Larry needed some help though. Staff shortages notwithstanding, the waitstaff did aswell as they could. 4 out of 5 stars for me. Would've been 5 of 5 were it not for staffing.

My son (Sam) and I celebrated his 18th birthday here. The food far surpassed expectations! The management was also fantastic. The eclectic ambience of the old courthouse provided a casual experience in a building steeped in meaningfulhistory. The only area of concern was the waiter. His city attitude took away from the overall experience. We all have baddays. We chose to assume that was one for him. I?m positive we will be back. Maybe we will get lucky and have the same waiterassist us. I bet he would knock it out of the park the second go around!
