"I recently dined at Captain D's because I was in the mood for some fried seafood. I opted for the #4 combo, but unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the food. The fish was overly oily and salty, indicating it may not have been cooked for long enough. The hush puppies were also soft and greasy. The fries were decent, but the coleslaw portion was lacking. It seems that the manager needs to ensure that the dishes are cooked properly."

This restaurant is old and just like every where else short staffed. The staff that is there could really careless to be there and the food is mediocre. I remember when I would actually crave Captain D's but not anymore. The food is bland and just out right disgusting it's on the same level as hospital food and nursing home food lol-low sodium and cardiac diet gross ????

Well more than 7 yrs of eating there, I can honestly say I 've never had a bad meal at this Captain D 's location on Holcomb Bridge Rd. There is a Captain D 's within 3 miles from me but the Holcomb Bridge location is still my favorite and I 'll make the 12 mile drive to go to this location. Staff is super nice, very clean and this location has been recently remodeled to nice bright colors!! Good job!!
