"When we arrived we were greeted by a nice girl and taken to our seats. The ambiance was lovely. Then our waiter asked what we would like to drink and what appetizer...we ordered, then our waiter asked if we would like our appetizer and drinks to come together or one before the other huh?, we said it didn't matter whatever he thought...our appetizers and drinks arrived together and both were great. THEN, an hour and minutes later our main dishes came out. The steak was very bad quality; about a inch thick, chewy, and really fatty. The crab cakes were not cooked all the way and did not have big chunks of crab. It was more like chewy crabby biscuits, yuk! Our side item was mashed red potatoes...

Not great. Went for Valentine’s Day. Thought the entertainment would be Jazz but it was acoustic guitar and not Jazz. The lady was not good. Kept talking instead of entertaining and made many mistakes. Unprofessional. Not sure why y’all keep inviting her back every Valentine’s Day. The server was inexperienced and raw. Food took too long to rotate around even thought we came on time. The decor is noticeably fake or cheap. The only thing decent was the food. But that is just decent. Drinks sucked as well. Very over priced for the occasion. Got to do better

Overall our experience at the Carlyle Club was very good. The food was excellent, we were seated in a timely fashion and our food came out quickly and was well prepared. The band was playing some very nice jazz music and the noise level wasn't too high. Overall a great place for a romantic dinner with a special someone. The only complaint was with the server. While very nice he was quite forgetful, I never received a refill of my water glass even though I asked twice and served desert without silverware so we had to stare at it a while before we could eat it
