"I’ve been to Parkland location many times. I love the avocado toast and the lavender latte. I was happy to see the west Boca location today . I decided to try something different . I opted for one of their bowls. Therefore, I was shocked when I got my bowl. To say, I was disappointed is an understatement. This review got three stars but the bowl itself got one star five stars for the latte and the service. The bowl I ordered consisted of 2 tablespoons of hummus, 3 tablespoons of arugula, 2 tablespoons of quinoa, tablespoon of cut up olives , a few cucumbers, and a handful of tomatoes. It was pitiful to look at. I hate the feeling that I threw away money. There was literally no food on the pla...

Great atmosphere and service. They always greet us by name here and they are fast on service. The food is prepared with care and we always appreciate the attention to detail from the staff. Overall, one of our favorite little places.

Just left Carmela so disappointed. I spent $30 just for my dirty chai and smoked salmon avocado toast. The dirty chai was great, pricey but whatever. The sandwich was $17…. Could you put more than one tiny egg??? Could you put some sort of flavor on it??? I could’ve used that money for a nice evening dinner instead. Just because you’re located in Boca doesn’t mean you can charge Boca prices for absolutely nothing special at all.

"Decent at best. That’s all really. It is very noisy- by design. Look up and you’ll see why. The ceiling is designed to carry the noise from the bar throughout the restaurant. And honestly I don’t care to listen to the bumpin music they’re playing at the bar when we’re at our booth 50+ feet away. It is also very dim. Extremely poor lighting, according to our waitress (who was very nice) this is also by design because other diners have made comment about this too and she said she’s mentioned it and the feedback she gets is “it creates the ambience.” Yeah okay…… “ambience.” The food is decent at best. Caesar salad was pretty good. But what is up with the streak being doused in butter? There was a pool of butter on my plate around my steak. Is the lighting dim in the kitchen too? Can the chefs not see what they’re doing? All in all, New York Prime is not any better than Morton’s or The Capital Grille. In fact, we probably should have gone to one of those two. There’s nothing New York about this restaurant at all. After returning home we decided to check out New York Prime’s website and read their menu story about how “New York Prime is a different kind of steakhouse.” If you ever want a laugh, read that. You’ll tear up, it’s hilarious. Proprietors seem very full of themselves! Anyway, we were very unimpressed, will definitely not be returning."
