"Update (long overdue): I apologize for taking so long to change my one-star review. Without getting into the details, a few years back, a group of us had a less-than-ideal experience at Carol's Cafe. We believe that second (or even third) chances are important since you never know if a previous visit was just a fluke. When we decided to give it another try, we were pleasantly surprised by how much better it was. The place felt much cleaner than before! Fantastic cafe comfort food! Beat lightest fluffiest pancakes we've ever had anywhere. We travel a lot and it's great to find a diamond in the rough. Don't let the exterior of the cafe hold you back... you won't be disappointed.
