I initially considered giving this restaurant 3 stars, but the food was actually really good. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars. However, the pricing is on the higher side. The portions are large and delicious, with the added touch of lemon pepper sprinkled on the food just before serving.

I ordered 100 wings and 20 perches for a birthday party. They were delicious! (and on time) We literally had people fighting over the cash Both guys who worked, made a great job and the service was excellent. I definitely go back. I tried to get a picture, but everyone dig in as soon as we opened it.

"As David Chang has noted, you wouldn?t expect such bomb food in a bowling alley, but lo and behold, Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop exists. Came here on a Monday evening with two other friends around 6:30pm and the parking lot was already full. There is street parking available. The restaurant is unassuming but the food is delicious and portions are generous. Credit cards are accepted. You order at the counter first and then sit down. Indoor dining only. Takeout is also available. I got the Hawaiian Royal, which everyone seems to get for their first visit. It?s on the sweeter side (which is good for me) and very filling I had a very hearty lunch the next day. My friends got the loco moco and garlic chicken respectively, and both liked their food a lot. The garlic chicken in particular has good flavor and comes with rice, mac salad, and broccoli. The employees were nice and everyone eating there seemed to be a local. Overall, it?s got hole in the wall vibes, but you won?t regret coming here."

"Came from Vegas to try! Burgers were really good. Definitely will be back. I had the double and it was huge. Beyond filling. Meat is very thick with alot of flavor. I think 2 more slices of cheese is needed for how thick the patties are. Also because it's wrapped in foil so the cheese is melted down to nothing. You get alot of fries as well. Service was alright. Cashier should definitely smile more. Wait time is crazy. Waited 50 minutes for order. Definitely order ahead. It was worth the wait!"

"I live on the east coast where the Mexican food can be a bit lacking. Getting a nice plate of tacos or burritos is the first think I do when I visit California. I went to Balam right after arriving in LA, and it did not disappoint! The portions were large, the food was fresh, and the hot sauces (which seemed homemade) were the star of the show! Service was awesome too. I loved the little outdoor courtyard and the festive music."
