"This place is absolutely great. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful local restaurant. Top quality food, as well as excellent service. Not a single complaint to think of at all! My home away from home place, really. Looking at some sparse other mediocre nitpicks a few reviewers pointed out, I can safely say are entirely unwarranted at the quality of food and service you receive here, especially at the very good prices they offer. Deserves a solid 4.9-5.0."

Brunch on a Saturday was great. The galletas and jam were amazing. The hash was perfect and not to heavy. The creme pancake was to die for. And al pastor tacos just because we were in town, were amazing.

The food was fantastic. Don't decide what to order until you hear the daily offerings. Everything thing is fresh , made from scratch. Even the cocktails are unique. All made with wine they are terrific. Don't pass up a chance to visit.

The chilacas, an exclusive dish to this place are the bomb. It’s a mash up of a corn Gordita and fry bread in the shape of a strawberry shortcake muffin. I don’t know who TF thought this thing up but it’s legit. If you’re adventurous, it’s worthy of a visit just to try one of these things. Also great tap selection. And amazing service !

"I had the pleasure of staying at Hacienda de Mesilla this past weekend and wow, is all I can say. We checked in on Thursday night and the GM brought my luggage upstairs (what service! the room was well appointed and there were a ton of special touches like the comfy robes and locally sourced bathroom essentials. The veranda was a nice touch with wide couches and tables, I snuck out there the following morning to do some work while drinking coffee. The hotel doesn't have breakfast but that's okay because they give you vouchers for two really great restaurants in town (The Bean M-F La Posta Sat -Sun . So we went to have breakfast at The Bean and I went to get a facial (at Spa 232, go treat yourself to this wonderful place if you have a chance! Then went back to the hotel to lay out by the pool. The cabana is a wonderful touch, the pool was clean and cool. The lounge chairs were comfortable and the shade was nice. Had some lunch at the hotel, the Crab Stack is to die for especially after a spa day. My sister had the Caesar salad and she said it was awesome! We go back to the pool and a server came out to see if we needed anything and we ordered drinks and a dessert which arrived promptly and the skillet cookie was to die for!! Can I say enough about the amazing service? That night we went to La Poata, which was amazing! Came back to the hotel or a drink and margarita pie! So good!!! Back to the room, the bed is so comfy and welcoming, I had one of the best nights sleep! The next day we got up, went to breakfast and then spent time with family in the area. We all went to the hotel for lunch and I had the green chili cheesesteak sliders...another amazing dish. Spent time with family some more and took a nap and did some shopping. We had dinner that night at the hotel as it was a bit of a celebration. I had the filet and lobster, friend had the cowboy cut ribeye, another had the sea bass and another had the filet with gargonzola sauce. The restaurant brought a digestive in between the main entree and dessert and I thought that was a great touch! I had the cream brulee and another couple had the Mesilla Mud, another amazing food treat! To sum it up here's the pro's: Food!! (Crab stack, Margarita Pie, sea bass, green chile cheesteak sliders, risotto, crab cake. I guess you could include drinks too.. great wine list, tons of beers on tap and an awesome green chile apricot margarita Service (Elena at the bar and everyone from the front desk to the GM was phenomenal Comfortability with elegance (the decor, linens, furniture is all elegant but comfortable. Nothing feels out of place and everything has a purpose but is beautiful. Cons: it's so far away from Dallas (where I live Go stay there and eat there if you get the chance, you won't be disappointed!"
