"Visiting Checkers was nostalgic. My grandmother would take myself and my sister there often as children during summer. I was surprised that Checkers hasn't changed much. Outside of the prices, the Champ burger used to be a dollar and they had a dollar fry. The buns used to be sesame seed and the burgers a little more thick with the large purple onions! Those were the days! But it was still good to pull up and see the familiar black and white checkered building with red accents. The burger was GREAT! Very fresh and the bun was soft and fresh as well. The fries taste like they did many years ago! I will most definitely visit again!"

Pretty good burgers. The pommes were different from what I expected; they seemed to have a kind of coating on them. They were not bad, very different. Completely decent place to get burgers.

this review is late. I stopped by after a funeral on 3-22-22. checkers were not in spring lake when I lived there years ago. I already had a snack for the trip to the house, but I wanted to go with something sweet. the caramel cheesecake sunflower meets the point! I can't remember their names, but the young lady who was driving was pleasant.
