"Food was ok; service was good; restaurant interior and furnishings need a refresh. Interior is dingy: look at the carpet, look at the ceiling and then sit in one of those uncomfortable booths where the cushions have surpassed their life expectancy. A half-hour of sitting in one of them will make you saddle sore Food ok; perhaps a bit greasy expensive. I know that the cost of doing business has increased substantially; however, if you're going to increase your prices substantially, you need to provide a little something extra to the customer. In this case, a nice clean bright and shiny restaurant would be a good move. Not likely we'll be back any time soon. Too many other restaurants in the area offer greater value."

"I give this place a 5 or 1 depending on who’s working. The weekend staff at the bar are all stars, the women working the bar Feb. 7 on a Monday are trash and deserve to be fired. Slowest, worst, and most unfriendly service ever. That being said, the food is a 5/5 all day, the drinks are strong and good but the weekday staff sucks. I would give a 1 if it wasn’t for the weekend staff or a 5 if it wasn’t for the weekday staff. Also I’ve been here three days In a row lol."

"two times in the last month and while eating is descent what she would expect, it takes forever. the first time the waitress lasted 15 minutes to welcome our order. other food came before us to guests who sat on it. the second time, on Sunday, took 45 minutes to get our meal. it'll be a long time before we get back to this place, keeping 0 star if I could."

"likes this place and impressed you have a vegan menu, but the options are a bit concentrated and easy. it was very crowded and a little too pretentious given that it is in nixa. I am pleased that the opposite steps make a healthier lifestyle, but they have a lot of unhealthy items on the menu that lacks the brand to promote improved nutrition and lifestyle in one of the most unhealthy regions of the country."

"Great service but the food was way over seasoned and salty. The pulled pork tacos were pretty good. The pimento cheese was very salty but would have been good otherwise if salted less. Also the wonton chips just don't go with it. Crackers or regular chips would be better. The baked beans are just strangely seasoned and have something that looked like pieces of meat but was soft like a piece of sweet potato or something that I couldn't identify. The coleslaw was good and wet. The toast pieces were just blah. The creme brulee corn was very salty and the corn was chewy and not crisp fresh, probably frozen. The sweet potato casserole was just ok. The brisket was ok but had to add bbq sauce to make it better. Hopefully they will do some adjustments to the amount of salt they add to everything so the flavor of the food comes through instead of tasting like licking a salt block. Our bill was $127 for 6 people so not too expensive. Not planning to return."
