"a well-known recommended us mak’s, and I am so glad that he did it! I have never enjoyed a meal more and that is a lot! the appetizer was so delicious! we had the ahi tuna appetizer. we would have preferred to be cooked a little less, but overall it was great! the thin-cut ingwer on the side of the thunfish was so fun! for the entree was the filled flank steak the best I have put in my mouth (except our own kitchen, although it was not the favorite of my man. the creamy spinach stuffing was not in its taste profile, but it certainly has to fit my! he is glad that he has the tacos! our server has told us that the steak was a new menu item, so I want to immerse and say that they get this article right! the steak was super tender and perfectly flashed the crust was so funny! the creamy sauce has perfectly complemented the filling! the steamed brokkoli was boiled well, and the mixed vegetables were good, but were slightly oversalted. overall the food was delicious!"

"I loved this place!! Located in historical downtown Nacogdoches it has the small town mom and pop dinner feel but with a higher calibre environment and cleanliness. I went for the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans which was spectacularly done in a traditional way but with a fine twist on the gravy which was actually a breakfast sausage gravy and surprisingly worked well to elevate my meal to the next level of flavor explosion. Highly recommended if you have never been. "

"My family ate there and everyone loved their meal. Our favorites were the Black and Bleu Salad, the Italian sandwich, the Deluxe Pizza and the Coconut Cake. You could say everything was hand made of high-quality ingredients. The workers were friendly and service was prompt. The restaurant was very clean. Great experience together!"

"The smell of freshly baked blueberry muffins greeted me at the door and coaxed me into its spell with its siren song. It only got better from there. Good music played over softly as patrons enjoyed good conversation over delightfully brewed beverages. As I awaited my cappuccino, I perused the whole bean selections. Found one I liked and bought it. Locally grown and roasted, the vast and interesting selection offers something for everyone. I made a point to further explore the café and discovered the neat upstairs lounge. Oh, and did I mention they had a second-floor patio? If you ever come to Nacogdoches and need a pick-me-up, let Java Jack’s bring you to coffee heaven and away from the worries of your world."

"Stopped in late on Wednesday night, we had a burger and chicken quesadilla. My daughter asked for just chicken and cheese in the quesadilla and I asked for the BBQ sauce on the burger to be on the side. Both orders came out wrong, but it was late and overall the meal was good. There wasn't so much sauce that I felt I needed to send it back and my daughter just picked out the salad not even telling me it was wrong until well into the meal. But it was good and even these minor errors didn't affect the quality of the meal. The staff were great, very polite, and helpful. When the server noticed the mistake he offed to take it back but we decided not. We will visit again on our next trip to Nacogdoches."
