"Rating: 4.6/5 (dine in) We arrived 20 minutes before closing time, but we were still seated without feeling rushed. The service was good and our food came out quickly. While their prices are higher than other California Vietnamese restaurants, the food was absolutely delicious! Bún Thang ($13.95): I requested clear flat rice noodles instead of the usual egg vermicelli, and it paired perfectly with the broth. The broth was amazing, one of the best I've had. You really don't need any sauce besides the samba chili if you like it spicy. They give generous toppings and protein. I had never tried this dish before, but I loved it. My only issue was that some of the shredded chicken was a bit dry....

The food is delicious! The banh mi is a must-have for the road trip back. It's probably the best I've ever had. The prices are also very reasonable. I appreciate that they open early. I would definitely recommend this place.

The food was mediocre and did not leave a lasting impression. The Mi Sate Bo (egg noodle beef sate soup) was disappointing due to an overwhelming peanut flavor. The banh cuon and banh beo were decent. The restaurant is a bit overpriced considering the casual atmosphere. Overall, not worth making a return visit for.

This restaurant serves authentic Vietnamese food that isn't just pho! The #15 dish is especially delicious, made with hu Tieu (your choice of noodles - I highly recommend the rice noodles). They also offer Bánh bao that sells out daily, as well as great Bánh Cuon and tasty Bánh mi sandwiches. The customer service is done in Vietnamese style, where you sit down, order, eat, and enjoy. The dine-in space is small but turnover is quick. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for something different than the usual pho or bun thit nuong dishes.

"Overall: 4.1/5 dine in)Such a cool coffee shop in the Arts District. The staff here is so friendly and fun! They DJ their own music and vibe to it while they work. The music was so good, you could catch me lip singing or tapping along to the beat. They have a water station and wifi so it's a great spot to work. I did for a few hours and thoroughly enjoyed my time there.Iced Miso Caramel Latte $6.50): This is a seasonal drink so I had to try it before it's no longer available. It was very interesting to say the least. Didn't taste like anything I had before. I didn't taste the coffee really but the different components in this drink. You get hints of banana cream foam, miso caramel, and latte flavors randomly and subtlety. The latte isn't sweet and the espresso isn't strong so you don't get that bold coffee taste. Cool to try once but I wouldn't get it again.Truffle Croissant Sandwich $9): I asked them to add veggies only had lettuce) since I needed my fiber but lettuce doesn't go with the sandwich. The sandwich itself was big and filling. I also felt like they had a bunch of different flavor profiles that were good individually but didn't work cohesively. I tasted everything but the truffle-parm though which is supposed to be in the gravy. The egg was runny which was nice. The gravy was good and not salty. My favorite thing about the sandwich was probably the everything croissant. I think it would be really good by itself as well. Similar to the latte, the sandwich was good to try once since it's different but it wasn't savory enough to satisfy my umami taste buds. Wouldn't get it again."
