"After visiting Cottonwood Kitchen twice, I feel compelled to give this review. The first visit was on the spur of the moment, arriving just after six pm on a Thursday. We had heard the the crab cakes were pretty good. Unfortunately the restaurant was full, the wait was 45 min-1hr, so we decided to sit at the bar. There was good live music playing. and the bartender was attentive. We had missed the Social Hour , with discounts until 6PM. They were out of Crab Cakes, so we had nachos, which were fair. We came back a week later (with a reservation) to try the Crab Leg special, which sounded good from the ads. We did get the Social Hour prices on the two drinks and the avocado salad. The salad...

First time visit. We went for Santa Fe restaurant week and it was wonderful. The special was an appetizer, a main entree, and dessert for $35. We both had the prime rib and it was incredible. We definitely want to go back and try other menu items.

Very busy place on New Year’s Day evening. Table was ready, the restaurant was very presentable, even though they were very busy. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. We all had the prime rib. Presentation was beautiful, food nice and warm, and the flavor was scrumptious. Service was great and server very personable and attentive. Great place for any occasion.

"My wife and I wanted a nice, relaxed place to sit outside and have a fun dinner. We were very disappointed with the service. It took our waiter about 10-15 minutes to get to the table (which feels like an eternity while waiting to order drinks). They took our drink order and quickly returned with a cocktail and water, but the beer we ordered was delayed by a few minutes. Not a big deal, but then the night went south. We haven't seen our server in a long time. We felt our starter was a bit delayed when foodrunners showed up with our starters. No app in sight. We let them know and eventually the server brought our app. But by this point we were already in the middle of the meal. The food tasted good. Nothing out of the ordinary, but not bad. I admit the nachos were delicious. The mac and cheese we ordered had breadcrumbs but that was missing. Fortunately, the server took care of it pretty quickly. We were never asked if we would like to have our drinks refilled. And after dinner we waited a long time for our check. It just seemed to take forever for everything. Neither of the problems on their own would have been a big deal, but together it made a somewhat uncomfortable experience. The waiter was nice and apologized. They also put together the starter for us which was lovely. Maybe it was a free night or maybe a new server but can't say I would recommend going on a Saturday night. We also enjoyed the outdoor seating area. It was a little tight, but the ambience was nice."
