"Tiny little barbecue shack on the side of the road. I have been driving by this place for a while now and I've never seen it open. Because of my work schedule I can never get around to trying this place when they're open. Imagine my surprise when I drove by today and they were open. Even though the hours date on Facebook and on Google say they're closed on Wednesdays. The Gods must have been shining down on me today because I busted a u-turn so fast to grab me some barbecue. The menu is simple. They have grilled chicken that you can either buy whole, half or quartered. They serve rice and beans and homemade tortillas. They also have tacos, chicken, fajita, beef fajita or barbacoa. On the weekends they have a couple of other special items such as pupusas and tamales. Let me just explain about these tacos. We ordered six barbacoa tacos and they were phenomenal. They were so delicious that my husband and I were fighting over who was going to get the last one. Haha!! We also ordered chilaquiles which comes with either white or dark meat chicken. Since I don't eat chicken I just asked them to leave it off my plate. They did leave the chicken off and in return they gave me a lot more beans, rice and chilaquiles. Talk about great customer service. I wasn't expecting anything extra. I just did not want the chicken. Location is kind of crazy. If you drive too fast, you're definitely going to miss this little Shack. Driving south on Glenwood just passed Front Street underneath the train tracks on the right hand side is where you're going to find this little tiny barbecue shack. Definitely look out for it and if you can't find it, you'll definitely smell it. Follow that smell, I guarantee you you'll fall in love with the food!!!!!"
