I ordered the baked steak with sage, green beans and rolls, with a salad in front and chocolate cake. Everything tasted homemade, and the chocolate cake was very chocolatey and freshly costed. The beans did not taste. The high-quality butter was served with the homemade rolls, and with the baked steak there was a lot of engraving. Basically, the food at Diehl is everything Cracker Barrel wants. I went on a Sunday shortly after the church, so the restaurant was absolutely packed. This place gives you a heaping helping of food with friendly, attentive service with a smile! Well worth the extra mile off the interstate when passing through. We'll definitely stop in here again.

First time eating here, a friend of my hubby's) told us about it,and we decided to try it out. It was about an hour drive. And we was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Had a burger, onion rings and Cole slaw. The burger was handed paddied out tasted amazing. Onion rings was crispy not burned very tasty. Hubby had the baked steak mashed potatoes real mashed potatoes) coleslaw and corn. Needless to say he cleaned his plate. Very HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this place has been in business since 1960. They have to be doing something right. And the staff thier are very pleasant police well mannered. If you don't go you are missing out.
