Nice place to land down for a lunch or a couple of beers. The good thing, they have roundish Bavarian beer cups (I used to call them Czech, as have seen lot of these in Prague), which are more handy than the typical ones :)Also nice summer area outside.

I visited engelscafe with a Bavarian friend for brunch after a night out. We were originally planning on going to another place but they were unfriendly and we left and that's how we ended up here. The service was very friendly, a nice guy in traditional Bavarian outfit served us and although tradition says that you can only eat the white veal sausage until noon they were so friendly to make it at 13h30 so I could try it. They tasted very good as well as the eggs and the cheese nudeln, complemented well with weissbier.

"my man and I were in a few for a family birthday party. we had some time for us and took public transportation to visit schloss nymphenburg, which was a wonderful excursion also on a windy, wintery afternoon. not quite ready to return to the house...we googled Italian restaurants near me. the one we visited first did not take any plastic. the second location was solo italia. it was a Friday night and the place jumped around 19 o'clock. we didn't even think we were making a reservation, and everyone was taken table. no problem, we could order the cash. it followed several hours of relaxation, delicious eating, weeping and atmosphere. we ordered the green salads that are large, fresh, and most welcome after days very little green on our tellers. pasta bolognese and spaghetti carbonara were excellent. we did not try out the pizzas, although they looked fantastic (and they produced, kept all waiting workers and our bar-tenders very busy to mante the many.) solo italia is a place that prices were much less than the fancier sites round, but the quality of the food was comparable. it was simply a funny, bouncing place. a scream from our barkeeper maurice d. he was very busy with the drinks orders, the semi-trailer pizza and in the regular good work. he still managed to be polite and attentive that we were sitting on his bar. very professional and personal. if they are on the look for a great Italian place outside the Munich city center (but easily reached by tram 25) try solo italia, they have a great time!"
