"We were there for breakfast at around 9 am and they open at 8 am.The diner was empty when we arrived. We ordered at the counter and then sat at whatever table we wanted. The food did not take long to arrive. While we ate people came in to order food and pick up food that was probably pre-ordered. It was a nice clean place and the ladies running the eatery were very polite. The food was very good, I definitely will go back. Next time I will get a platter instead of a sandwich.Parking: There is a parking lot next to the diner. DO NOT PARK THERE! That is paid private parking not related to the diner. During my work trip, I stopped by Evelyn's restaurant and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and the meatloaf sandwich with gravy on white bread brought back memories of my grandma's cooking from the 70's - it was truly amazing. I also tried their lemon cake and strawberry cake, both of which were moist, delicious, and in high demand. I will probably be getting another piece before I head back home.
