"Field and Cellar is an undiscovered jewel! Chef Massey's creations rival any restaurant in the Berkshires. We had the Duck Wings, Foraged Mushrooms and Egg, Venison Loin and Nison Short Ribs. All are highly recommended. The cocktail menu was creative. My Rose Bush Manhattan was delish. The service was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. There was also a jazz duet. My only criticism, which is small, is that the dining room could be cleaned up to the quality of food and service."

Wonderful experience at Field and Cellar at Thornewood Inn. Enjoyable atmosphere and impeccable service. Amazing food creations and presentation. Highly recommend going to Field and Cellar!

Field and Cellar doesn 't have its act together yet. It 's in a sleepy Inn and a tired decor of the room. While the food is farm to table the menu is very limited and very pricey. The food was very good but not great. The service was scattered. When one of our guests asked if something was gluten free the waiter never returned with an answer. They have no wine list, just bottles of those wines listed on the menu by the glass. The place has potential but it 's not there yet.
