"We had date night at this restaurant on a Friday evening. We were immediately seated by our host. He was also our waiter and provided us with water and menus after we were escorted to our table. We ordered the cornbread as our appetizer. It was very good. For our entree, we had the crawfish po' boy sandwich and the shrimp and grits. Both entrees were delicious. For dessert, we decided to try the beignets and they were good. Overall, we were satisfied with the service and definitely the food. It was a nice crowd when we were there. We definitely plan to go back and would recommend it to others."

Valentines Day The Cornbread was great. Shrimp and grits were also very good. The dark roux gumbo was almost inedible. The service was inattentive. Should have asked us if we wanted a second drink. Should have asked why I didn’t eat my gumbo. Should have come by the table a bit more often.

Cajun food and specialty cocktails are a great change of pace in a same-old world of dining, and Fifolet delivers a solid experience each time we go. We've also enjoyed the Sunday brunch there. Recipes are reasonably authentic and properly seasoned, ingredients are well balanced and you don't end up with a giant pile of rice with no protein when you order the jumbalaya. Worth adding to the list.
